Dennis Hwang's works are lively but not noisy. They use bright colors and dynamic lines to interpret traditional landscapes, figures and other themes, capture tranquility with movement, and pay attention to tradition with non-tradition. Dennis Hwang entered the Western art world and after years of exploration, he returned to Eastern art philosophy after a series of experiments with Western modern art. Dennis Hwang, who picked up the brush again, used it freely, like a wild horse without restraint, transforming traditional pictures of boudoir ladies into colorful illusions, creating unique and interesting landscapes, naked women, flowers and birds, and famous horses on rice paper and canvas, which is like Fauvism. The wild colors earned him the name Matisse of the East.
