PoLin Yang

楊柏林

Born in 1954 in Jinhu Village, Hukou Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan, his real name is Yang Xiang.


In the fourth grade of elementary school, he determined to become an artist. After graduating from elementary school, he went north to study on his own.


He didn't have an academic background, but he creates many types of creations such as sculpture, painting, architectural design, public landscape, and installation art; copper, iron, stainless steel, stone, bamboo, etc. are all creative materials. His works are collected by major art museums, including Taipei and Taichung. His works can be seen in residential buildings, commercial buildings, hotels, and plazas in Kaohsiung, Shanghai, Beijing, and other places.


Yang Po-lin, who loves nature, freedom and diverse arts, these elements have been the high-level oxygen of his creative career for more than 30 years. He describes his sculptures as "actually the language of poetry! Turn an arc or an aspect, and you can see it." A different scene."
